an interior designer wanted to convert potential clients with a unique digital identity, supported by branded onboarding documentation
Kelly Ross Design Studio has been operating for 12 years, working across varied and diverse projects including boutique hotels, foyers, restaurants, bars, clubs, pubs, retail concept stores, product launches, immersive event installation, residential homes, home-warehouses & mud brick cottages.
While Kelly already had a stunning word marque and minimal branding elements that she wanted to retain, she wanted to showcase her experience and work with a unique and visually stunning website, moving beyond a standard white Squarespace template to strengthen her online presence and embody the approach and aesthetic of the Studio.
The most exciting element of this website was the development of the homepage image gallery. Rather than choosing one photo from each project gallery as a hero to link to the project gallery pages, Kelly provided source material and keywords for each project, which were then used as a starting point to source or create an entirely new image as an entry point for each project.
This approach has resulted in a gallery that acts a kind of visual DNA for Kelly Ross Design Studio, and embodies its philosophy and aesthetic.
The site design then informed supporting collateral, including an animated email signature and a questionnaire and “Services + Philosophy” deck for new clients.
