After discovering Studio Kokomo on Instagram, Mandy approached me to design a logo for her new family daycare. The brief drew inspiration from golden sun rays, autumn leaves and simple stylised rainbows. After exploring several concepts, we landed on a minimal design pairing a smiling sun with a groovy typeface. A limited palette of pale yellow and olive keeps the result feeling grounded and earthy rather than cutesy or sweet.
