After discovering Studio Kokomo on Instagram, Mandy approached me to design a logo for her new family day care business.

The brief was to take inspiration from the golden rays of the sun, autumn leaves and simple, stylised rainbows. After developing several concepts, we landed on a minimal design consisting of a smiling sun and a groovy typeface. Using a limited colour palette of pale yellow and olive keeps the logo grounded and earthy, rather than too cutesy or sweet.
